Based in Tasman, New Zealand, Ettelloc takes solid vintage furniture from 1920s classics through to sought after mid-century modern pieces and creates a fresh, look. We specialize in custom refurbished furniture, taking quality sideboards, dressers, bedside tables, and chairs, sanding them back, applying durable Resene paint finishes, and adding sleek modern hardware... depending on the vibe. Every piece is a unique, refinished creation built to last, honoring its vintage roots while fitting seamlessly into contemporary homes.
Rescuing and restoring furniture for as long as I can remember. It started out of necessity back when I couldn't afford to buy new pieces, so I would hunt through garage sales, find furniture with good bones, and figure out how to make it look fresh again. Over time, that budget-friendly fix turned into a lifelong passion. With a background in art and design, I am obsessed with the transformation process and the power of color—bringing vibrant pops into a piece genuinely brings me joy at my core. My heart belongs to mid-century modern design, but my favourite approach is blending those retro, nostalgic lines with sleek, contemporary details to make a piece feel modern with depth. In a world full of cheap, throwaway furniture, saving solid, well-crafted pieces from landfill is essential to me. Based out rural in the picturesque Upper Moutere, I spend my days reimagining vintage treasures so they can bring warmth, character, and energy into your home for another lifetime.
